Questioning Restoration Politics

is an issue for next year's prefectural assembly election. The method is not democratic.

The "Restoration politics" in which the governor, who is in an executive position, becomes the majority in the assembly is an unjustified intervention in the assembly, a decision-making body that reflects the diverse voices of the sovereign citizens of the prefecture.

The Restoration is a right-leaning party derived from the LDP, a strong party that speaks for the strong, a capitalist party.

Sovereignty of the people, democracy, is a troublesome system for the strong in that respect.

And humans have a helpless side. Each individual thinks they are weak, but that is an artificial thing, it's not true!

The fact that we come together to become a great "power" is not right, as it becomes "powerful."

This is manifested in ideas such as nuclear armament and not possessing military forces.

It becomes an artificial force and violates the value of being an individual.

The mistake is in discarding the universal value of the absolutely precious individual for the value of numbers, which is not inherent or real.

I think that the Restoration politics is a political method that disregards the absolute value of the individual, simply 1 vote, and conveniently extracts a part of the actions of the people who voted, distorting the fact that they were elected as an absolute value, and lacking tolerance for those who were not elected.

Governors and mayors who have information have their hands on the assembly, which is the decision-making body,

and trying to manipulate the diverse voices of the various residents, which is the assembly, to the will of a single leader is dictatorial politics.

It will destroy an important part of democracy, which respects the opinions of each individual.

I believe that decisions are made in the assembly.

What is decided in the assembly is executed by the head of the local government. I claimed this in the April mayoral election of Sennan City, and received 2,744 votes, while Mayor Yamamoto Yuma of the Restoration Party received 10,861 votes (voter turnout of 28.47%).

From that point of view, in the Osaka Prefectural Assembly election, it is necessary to elect non-Restoration Party members from the Senshu, Tajiri, Sennan, Hannan, and Misaki regions.

Osaka Prefecture is a coordinating body for each city, town, and village, and should play this important role.

In the post-COVID society, each city, town, and village needs to take into account the characteristics of their region, and the Senshu region is blessed with nature and is an ideal place for urban development.

It is the cities, towns, and villages that are responsible for their residents.

Due to the COVID-19 issue, the prefecture has not informed the cities, towns, and villages of who has been infected.

It is the cities, towns, and villages that protect their residents. It is the prefecture's role to support the cities, towns, and villages so that they can properly respond to and compensate those infected, those who have died, and those who have been affected.

To achieve this, the government should seek technical and financial support for the sake of the cities, towns, and villages.

We shouldn't use casinos to revitalize towns. We should also stop the World Expo. We shouldn't have a metropolitan plan. The prefecture shouldn't control the cities, towns, and villages.

The residents are the sovereigns, and in a society where sovereignty resides with the people, policies for this purpose should be led by the cities, towns, and villages.

The role of the prefecture and prefectural assembly members is to disseminate information from the perspective of the entire prefecture and to coordinate so that each city, town, and village can demonstrate its own characteristics.

The 43 cities, towns, and villages in the prefecture are equal entities chosen by the sovereigns. Misaki Town and Osaka City are equal.

When Toru Hashimoto was governor, he nodded in response to my question at a street rally in front of Otori Station that the basic local governments are the cities, towns, and villages, and then he answered that Tokyo was created all at once during the Hideki Tojo administration.

This was a wartime system, and under the sovereignty of the people, cities, towns and villages were the only ones in a position to carry out politics and administration for the sovereign residents.

Osaka Prefecture is not doing as it wants, so it is dividing Osaka City and weakening its actual power, and the prefecture is trying to control the cities, towns and villages even though it has no legal authority; this is "Restoration politics."

A politics that can only be carried out with a majority of Restoration members in the assembly is not democratic politics.

We will elect prefectural assembly members who are not Restoration members from this Senshu region and hold unified elections in which each individual can realize the democracy of the prefecture! (Next spring)

Standing by the position of each individual resident means standing by the position (equally) of the 43 cities, towns and villages.
