It's quick and does an excellent job of cleaning my two bedroom apartment. It vacuums carpeted rooms quickly and hardwood floors in the kitchen, living room and hallways with only one pass. Its 8,000pa suction motor will quickly pick up sand, dirt, and pet hair. Carpet detection automatically boosts power when it comes into contact with rugs, and the two side brushes help to tease away debris from corners.

The mopping efficiency is less impressive, but not by much. The rotating mop spins at a high velocity and pushes down with 2.2lbs of force, effortlessly cleaning up dirt and stains. I've noticed that the front arm protrudes out a bit more than other robots. This is useful in narrow corners or on baseboards. The front arms can also be used to scoop up larger objects like broken toys and books.

Another nice feature is that the S1 Pro is one of the quietest robot vacuums and mop I've ever tried. It is quieter and doesn't create more noise when vacuuming or mopping. The S1 Pro is only limited by the fact that it must use a proprietary mopping solution and is sold separately. It's easy to install and performs well however, it's something you'll need to be aware of in case you're purchasing this vacuum solely for the purpose of mopping.

The Roborock Q Revo

The Q Revo stands apart from most robot vacuums that mops in its class. It is a powerful cleaner with a range of features.

The device comes with an efficient cleaning system that combines LiDAR sensor technology with an RGB camera. This enables it to map out the home and identify furniture and other obstacles. This information can be used to clean effectively and methodically. This results in an efficient, consistent clean which is also relatively quick.

The X1 Omni robot vacuum is the most expensive of our review. However, it has certain unique features that make it worth considering. The X1 Omni's biggest draw is its enormous dock, which serves as the robot vacuum best's charging base and the housing for two 4-liter water tanks, a sink for cleaning, and an automatic 2.5-liter dust bin that is automatically empties.

The base also comes with a set of buttons to control the system. These allow you to start a cleaning job or recall the robot or start the dock's auto-emptying process. Hold down two buttons to turn off the child lock. This is a great feature for parents who are concerned about their children playing with the vacuum.

Similar to other robotic vacuums, the Omni Omni uses its camera to detect furniture and obstacles in its path and avoid them. True Mapping 2.0 navigation maps your home up to four times faster than laser detection systems.

Unfortunately, this means that the X1 Omni can occasionally get caught up in an obstruction, such as the power cord that is draped across a rug that it becomes stuck and stops working until you remove it manually. This is a rare event however, it was a bit frustrating since the X1 does not have an "stuck status" alert in its app.

Another potential downside is one of the biggest drawbacks is X1 Omni's inability to automatically switch between mopping and vacuuming modes during the cleaning process. You'll need to manually switch between the two modes, which isn't that bad, except that the mopping pad doesn't get washed or dried between uses. This can cause mildew and mold.

On the bright side the X1 Omni is a beautiful-looking robot vacuum cleaner reviews thanks to the design team at Jacob Jensen (of Bang & Olufsen fame) who came up with its sleek, modern-looking base and mopping pad. It's a significant difference from the utilitarian black bases of rivals like Roborock or iRobot. And it's an excellent choice for an industry dominated by boxy units.
