The Ridge comes with a rear wheel lock for running and a wheel on the front which can be adjusted for different terrains. Like other jogging strollers the UPPAbaby Ridge comes with a parking brake that can be activated by the user to stop the stroller when you need to catch your breath.

A large basket beneath the seat can provide plenty of storage for food, gear, and toys for kids. The canopy cover can be zipped open to provide more coverage on sunny days, or shut and tightened down clouds. Ridge is compatible with UPPAbaby's infant car seats and Bassinet accessory. It can be used with a Graco car seat adapter to create an entire travel system. The adjustable canopy rotates forward and back, but it's too small to provide adequate protection.
