If you're looking to save money and don't require a stroller that doubles into a car seat carrier, the Babyzen Yoyo is a good option. It has a simple one-step foot brake that's flip-flop user-friendly.

It's also easy to push and feels solid when navigating kerbs or woodland paths. Plus, it's a dream to fold.

1. Babyzen YOYO2

The Babyzen YOYO2 has earned a name as the ultimate lightweight buggy for city dwellers and jet-setters alike, due to its nimble maneuverability and fold that fits in aeroplane overhead luggage. This Delta Children bare-bones travel stroller is a great choice for parents who are looking for a secondary stroller that is affordable. It earned an eye-catching score in our Strollers and Multiples test for weight and fold size that means it's light, compact when folded and easy to lift into a trunk of a car or closet. It also has an adjustable recline seat that can be adjusted in multiple positions and an integrated cup holder for the parent. Other important features include two large hanging storage bags as well as 360-degree shock-absorbing front wheels.

It did better in our push and turn test than a lot of the strollers we tested, but was nonetheless difficult to maneuver on uneven terrain or through narrow doors. The front wheels can be locked in an forward position or allow them to swivel which is helpful when traversing rough terrain. We let the front wheels to rotate during our walk on the stony path. It was able to handle this well, even though it felt a little rougher.

5. Baby Jogger City Tour 2,

Baby Jogger is a household name for their 3-wheeler, all-terrain Jogging pushchairs, however they also make a good assortment of strollers with four wheels. City Tour 2 is their most popular model. It is simple to fold and fits easily into the car's boot even with the carrycot attached.

It is a standout model with many unique features, including the capacity of the seat to be flipped between parent and world facing, a large UPF50+ canopy, an eye shade that flips out, and an adjustable handlebar.

The wheels are strong and foam-filled which minimises punctures. The chassis also has built-in suspension which takes the sting out of bumpy terrain. Our tester found it to be smooth to push and was able to manoeuvre it through tight streets with ease.

It folds in just four steps and automatically locks with no fuss. It is also able to stand and be trolleyed for easier transport in the trunk of your car or down the stairs at home. The travel system is also included with the option to add an additional car seat or carrycot by using the adaptors included. The brakes come with a single seat stroller action and are color coded. They also work with flip-flops.

7. Babyzen Duet

This best single buggy pushchair that is budget-friendly is surprisingly easy to handle and has great dual suspension, one-hand fold and a practical carry strap. It's also very light and sturdy. The seat can be reclined into a variety of different positions. It also comes with a double breathable mattress that's suitable for infants.

The canopy/seat has two extra-large fixed or flip-out sun visors and both are UPF50+. However the toggle closure isn't ideal it's not as quiet as Velcro and could wake sleepy babies.

It comes with great safety features like a 5-point harness as well as a safety wrist strap. It has a different type of hand brake that is different from other models that is an interesting twist.

The seat is comfortable and offers a large area to sit in, however the depth of the seat is lower than other joggers that we've tested (it's approximately 10"). The storage bin comes with an enclosed zipper to help keep items secure. It can hold up to 10 pounds. This is enough for most diaper bags.

The Urban Glide 2 isn't compatible with bassinets for infants or car seats as of yet, but you can use it from day one by purchasing adapters for most seats by brands such as BOB, Graco, Combi, Evenflo, Britax, and UPPAbaby. It is easy to fold and assemble within 5-10 minutes, without tools. The manual is easy-to-understand and includes multiple languages.
