Car Seat Buggy 2 in 1 - Combos That Are Easy to Use

The Car Seat Buggy 2 in 1 combines two of the most important baby items: the infant car seats and strollers. It makes hopping off and on public transportation (and walking up and down stairs) so much easier.

Simple to use

Some models are difficult to attach or detach from the base, however. The Doona Combo requires a two step process of attachment, and straps that cover the bottom portion of the infant carrier. It's tempting to skip these steps however it could result in unsafe outcomes.

In the same way some models are hard to fold away and store, which makes them less practical than other. Graco FastAction 3 in 1 Car Seat Stroller is difficult to fold due to its large dimensions and heavy frames. It also has a tiny canopy that some test users find disappointing. The Britax Parkway Combo Click and Go is simple to fold with just the push of a button and pulling the lever. This model is an excellent option for parents who wish to use their car seat in other cars, as it is able to be removed from the base.

Easy to Fold

If you're storing your car seat on its own or in the trunk of your car or even in the closet, it should be simple to fold and unfold. The best 2 in-1 prams combinations we've tested have simple fold that's one-handed and durable enough to be used for long walks. They're also simple to move, sliding effortlessly over uneven surfaces and bumps. Some combos are attached and detached by straps. This could feel like a second step and make it more difficult for parents to secure their car seat correctly.

Easy to Assemble

Some stroller and car seat combinations are difficult to put together. We discovered that the UPPAbaby Cruz v2 Combo was one of the most simple to put together, and it even includes a handy quick-start guide that makes putting this travel system together easy. Other models we looked at, such as the UPPAbaby Minu, UPPAbaby Vista V2 Thule Urban Glide 2 and Baby Trend Snap-N-Go EX Universal, were also fairly easy to assemble. The BOB Revolution Flex 3.0 Combo however, is difficult to assemble. It requires two steps to attach the lower anchors and using straps that cover the bottom of the carrier. It's heavy so it takes two people to snap the carrier into the base, and then to remove it.

In our tests, it took around 5 minutes to put together the UPPAbaby Cruz v2. This is a relatively easy procedure when you consider the time saved by not having to take out all the individual pieces. The toddler seat can be attached and removed with ease on most of these models.
