Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades

Upgrades can sometimes increase the power of a piece and at times even add additional features. The value of these upgrade is determined by the gear's tiers, their requirements, and how many random augmentations are made available.

For example, the elite shield for racial discrimination Razortail is often upgraded to enhance its lightning absorb capability in PvP or to provide additional defenses on missile based builds in PvM. This makes it more tradeable over the unupgraded version.

Reroll Tokens

Reroll tokens can be used to reroll an item you have acquired like an armor, weapon, or ring. The item upgrader kit is replaced by another of the same kind and comes with different benefits. Reroll tokens can be a cost-effective method of upgrading gear. They don't preserve the original item upgrade's level and any wasted resources won't get compensated.

Survivors may acquire reroll tokens by a variety of means, including from the Mistery Box or as rare drops from skulled creatures. They can be located in crates and chests or bought at the local store at a cost of 150k each. Reroll tokens can be used to change an attribute of an item for example, increasing its damage or granting it a brand new stat.

Players can reroll their equipment using three attributes three categories: physical power, magic power, and health. Upgrades to physical power can increase the damage of melee and weapons attack and spell power upgrade mage attacks and the ring. Health upgrades give players additional health.

Three types of rerolls tokens are available such as upgrade, rare and legendary. Each upgrade elevates an item to a higher quality, with the requirement of a higher-quality reroll token order to make it. Upgrades require a standard item. Rare upgrades require an item that is either exclusive or legendary. Legendary upgrades require three legendary pieces.

In contrast to other special tokens and markers placed on Action spaces the reroll marker stays in the space until the next successful result is rerolled. This lets you avoid wasting upgrades.

Blueprints appear as envelopes at the beginning of each Preparation Phase and are opened by grabbing them with Interact. Once they're opened they show a complete description and the icon of the relevant appliance or ingredient. Blueprints can be exchanged to purchase a new Appliance or Ingredient in the restaurant's store for the amount of coins.

In the course of a run, blueprints can be transferred between the Staple Pool and the Non-staple pool due to the choice of Franchise Cards. This alters the kind of blueprints that a restaurant's shop offers for rerolls and which are available in the Non-droppable Pool.

Growthstones

In Throne and Liberty, growth stones can be used to improve weapons, armor and accessories. These are special stones that increase the quality of an item by increasing its stats and abilities. Players can find these items by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs located in the main towns. They can purchase them from Contract Coin Merchants for a price. They can also be purchased by players who complete daily contracts.

To upgrade equipment, the player must first locate the item, then click the "level up button". This will display a menu that shows the item's current status and what it will be when being upgraded as well as the necessary amount of Growth Stones to accomplish this. The number of Growth Stones needed to upgrade the item is determined by its rarity. Rare (blue) rarer weapons will require more than one Growth Stone, while uncommon armor only requires a single Growth Stone.

After selecting the item to upgrade, the user must choose the number of Growth Stones that they want to purchase and pay the cost. After the player has met the requirements, he is able to hit the upgrade button and apply the Growth Stones. The item will be raised in level by a certain percentage. The process of upgrading can last from a few seconds to several minutes, depending on the rarity of the item.

The upgrade process also is risk-free and does not impact the durability of the item. This makes the system an ideal way for players to gain a significant advantage in combat without putting a strain on their accounts. Additionally players can transfer experience and advancement of an upgraded item to a new one by clicking on the "transfer" tab.

New players may find it difficult to acquire Growth Stones. There are several ways to obtain these stones. You can complete contracts and purchase them from Contract Coin Merchants, defeat Abyssal Contracts, collect them from the Equipment Stone Seal Book or find them in reward chests during the Ancient Arena Season. Players can also break down the higher-level Growth Stones into multiple lower-level stones.

Leveling

Leveling is an option that allows players to increase the base stats of weapons armor, helms and trinkets. It is achieved by adding upgrades at the Upgrade Station and paying a cost of Happy Stars or Happy Tickets. The upgrade components will be used up and the item will gain a higher level. This process can be repeated until the highest level for an item is attained.

Items with upgraded stats will be displayed as an icon of blue next to their slot. Upgrade components, unlike enchantments, can't be applied to more than one item at once. Each upgrade component will require the purchase of a certain amount of items as well as a certain equipment level.

The Upgrade Station is divided into two slots. On the left side, players can choose to add an item that they wish to upgrade. On the right side, an image of the gear looks like at its next level. When a player has enough materials by pressing the yellow arrow, it will begin the upgrade process.

A piece of equipment may be upgraded up to five times. Each time an item is upgraded, its stats will be increased by a small percentage. The highest level for an item is 19.

Once an item upgrade reaches the highest level, upgrades will no longer be available for it. When an item is upgraded to a certain track (e.g. Upgrades for the Veteran or Explorer track will be discounted.

Upgrade components are a form of equipment that can be inserted into weapons, armor trinkets and gathering tools to give an attribute bonus or extra effect when the equipment is equipped. They can be bought through vendors, looted or obtained through questing. They can also be traded between players. Upgrade components can be replaced with new ones, however doing so will destroy the previous upgrade, with the exception of for glyphs which can be removed and replaced at will.

Requirements

Items upgrades enable players to increase certain attributes of armor and weapons they already have. The requirements for upgrading an item differ based on the item type however, generally you'll require Dilithium and a variety of Upgrade Tokens (various options are available).

The upgrade items can be used to make sets and weapons for additional effects or to increase the item level. The upgrades can be acquired from various sources in the game, including crafting, purchased from the Trading Post or karma vendors or looted from bosses and raids, or retrieved from dungeons. Once an upgrade component has been inserted into an object, it cannot be removed or replaced. However it is possible to swap glyphs freely.

Upgrading an item can increase its Mark Level and/or Rarity. Some upgrade components also have additional modifiers that can improve the item's statistics.

For instance, the helm upgrade "Foundation of the Sun" boosts the base defense, and gives an additional 20% chance of blocking. Additionally the dps upgrade "Wildfire" increases damage to weapons.

Some items benefit from being upgraded less because of their improved stats and more for the fact that it allows players to get the maximum amount of value from a perfect roll on the item. For instance, a perfectly rolled 200/6 504 armor set piece is highly sought-after in the melee PvP community and can be worth 20-50x more than the non-upp'd version.

When you choose an upgrade component that you want to put into an item the game will show an in-game window that lists the requirements required for that item. These include the type of item (either Weapon or Armor) and the tier of the item and the upgrade Token needed, and the amount of progress needed to complete the upgrade.

Once you've satisfied the requirements for upgrading The game will then place the item in your inventory and the progress bar will change to indicate how close to completing it. You can also check the status of an upgrade by visiting any item upgrader NPC.
