Ship name: ARICA BRIDGE (container ship)
Photo taken on July 6, 2023
ONE (Ocean Network Express)
Japan-Thailand-Vietnam2 (JV2) service container ship
This is ARICA BRIDGE,
Ho Chi Minh - Osaka 7/26 - Kobe 7/27 - Yokkaichi 7/28 - Nagoya 7/29 -
Laem Chabang - Ho Chi Minh - Osaka, one round on the 21st.
The ship's name, "Arica," is a port city in Chile located just south of the border with Peru on the west coast of South America.
There was a state-run casino next to a beautiful large park.
(You can't enter unless you're wearing a tie.
On nights when there was no loading and unloading, we went out to play roulette.
Each voyage is short, less than a month,
but there is this much return cargo for each voyage, and the Thailand-Vietnam route is very busy.
The red 20ft container is an old van with the Kawasaki Kisen mark.
The blue 40ft container is also an old Nippon Yusen van. I hope they change it to the magenta ONE color soon.
Owner: TORONT NAVIGATION S.A.
C/O ALFA SHIP MANAGERS PTE,LTD.
Entered Osaka Bay.
It's still hazy and smoky.
Where are we now?
