Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combos

Robot vacuums and mops are getting more efficient. They pass our tests on cleaning and can take care of a variety of flooring. Find models that allow you to choose from multiple modes, use their charging docks to self-empty and clean the stairs.

Many of the best robotic mop and vacuum models are compatible with your smartphone. Check for an app that allows you to save maps, create schedules and select cleaning modes.

1. Eufy Omni S1 Pro

The black and gloss gunmetal Omni S1 Pro from Eufy is one of most impressive robot vacuums and mop combinations available. It uses lidar to navigate, and create maps of floors and rooms (even multiple levels), and works with the free Eufy Clean application that lets you set up schedules and modify the S1's behavior.

When I tested the S1 It was quick to identify our downstairs, which is home to linoleum flooring in the kitchen-diner and bathrooms, as well as carpeting with a medium-pile and an area rug. It easily drove close to walls without hitting them, and even managed to traverse thresholds for rooms that are raised without problem, although it sometimes had trouble navigating down stairs in a single pass. The S1 also did a great job cleaning hard floors, with its mop driving effortlessly on its flat side against the floor and lifting itself when it was near carpet or rug.

The docking station of the S1 automatically empties its dust bin and refills its onboard water tank with clean, ozonated waters prior to every mopping session. The dock also provides an extra-deep cleaning solution to the water. The S1's water tank can hold enough for about a dozen cleaning sessions before it needs to be empty, but this will vary depending on how often you use the mop.

Like all 2-in-1 robots, the S1 requires periodic maintenance to ensure it is operating well. In order to do this, you'll have to wash the dirty water tank occasionally to prevent it from clogging. You will also need to clean your sensor and swivel wheel frequently to avoid them getting blocked by dirt or dust. But, overall the S1 is simple to maintain, especially compared to other combos that require more hands-on maintenance.

2. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete

This all-in-1 robot mop and vacuum combo from Ecovacs is a great choice to meet your cleaning needs. Its best rated robot vacuum vacuum has 8,700Pa suction power and comes with a number innovative features including voice control and smart path scheduling that cleans furniture and avoids obstacles. The mopping capabilities of the robot are impressive, with rotating mops that actually lift and scrub the floor as opposed to just drag the pad across it. Mops can also be cleaned and dried at the base station when needed.

The robot is simple to set up and use, with a simple interface that walks you through the procedure. It includes an electric hand vacuum that can be recharged for those areas that the robot isn't able to reach as well as two water tanks that are automatically emptied and filled when needed. Mopping capabilities are quite good, with a pair spinning mop pads that can lift and scrub the floor, rather than just dragging the pad across it. The mops can also be cleaned with hot water and dried in the base station whenever needed. The mops are also filled at the top of the station as they are required.

3. Dreame X40 Ultra

Dreame's X30 Ultra robot vacuum cleaner vacuum and mop was released earlier this year. However, their latest flagship model has even more impressive features. It has outstanding cleaning performance and hands-off maintenance, making it a clear contender for our top mop and vacuum robots. Its superior mapping capabilities, RGB AI smart recognition and a long side brush guarantee an efficient, customized clean.

The X40 Ultra vacuums well, it can remove both large and fine debris. It is equally effective on hard floors and carpets. It also cleaned the most soiled areas efficiently, while eliminating pet hairs that are tangled and other messes. It also comes with a smart app that lets you set the type of floor and schedule cleanings, and an automatic water tank refill and wash system that allows hands-free operation.

Its mops are also impressive with its 2700Pa power that can tackle dirt and pet hair, on both carpets and hard floors. The Q5 is among the few robots we tested that didn't have any trouble with high-pile carpets and area carpets, but it didn't remove cat litter or cable tangles that's not a surprise given that it doesn't have AI-powered obstacle avoidance.

5. K10 Plus

K10 Plus is the quietest robotic cleaner and mop vacuum we've ever tested. It also has a unique mapping system that allows it to reach tight spaces and corners that other vacuums cannot. It also stores dust in a larger bin that means you have empty it less frequently. Furthermore, it comes with washable filters which further reduces the cost of using the device. The robot can recognize carpets, and increase suction if needed. The app also lets you to mark areas that you want it to stay clear of, which is a nice feature.
