Robots That Vacuum and Mop

Robots that mop and vacuum offer the convenience of cleaning both dry debris (dust dirt) and wet mess (spills and stains) in one session without the need to change devices. They also can save space in comparison to two separate units, especially in smaller living areas.

A good combination bot will have excellent navigation and obstacles avoidance. Look for models that have docks that let them automatically empty their bins, replenish their water tanks and wash the mopping pads.

1. Eufy S1 Pro

It has plenty to offer at a low cost and is among the easiest robots we've tested to install. Unpacking the S1 Pro is simple, and a quick-start guide will have you up and running with a clean and complete dust bag, hard floor solution and water tank in no time at all.

The S1 Pro is an incredibly powerful machine that can mop and automatic vacuum and mop well. The mops spin at fast speeds and can apply 2.2 pounds (1kg) of force, allowing for quick removal of dirt, pet hair and dried sticky spills. The vacuum cleaner comes with four power settings, as well as a selection of brushes and attachments as well as an intuitive app that lets you choose the kind of cleaning you'd like to do for each room.

The app is simple to use and intuitive, allowing you to see all the details of the cleaning.

2. Roborock S8 Pro Ultra

The Roborock S8 Pro Ultra, the most recent version of Roborock's top-of-the-line robot vacuum that vacuums and mops vacuum and mop is the most up-to-date version. The model this year has two agitators built into its mopping pad. This enhances the cleaning capabilities of carpets with this model. The power button, which also restarts the cleaning process mop button, which doubles as a child lock, and a home-button to take the robot to its dock. Lifting the hinged lid reveals 350ml of dust bin and 200ml water tank. The water tank automatically empties and the bin fills up automatically.

The only issue I encountered with this model was that the VibraRise mop pads mount is not removable. Although you can change the mopping cloth (if it's required), it's a pain to remove the mount itself for manual washing. I've found any plush carpet that the robot touches will come into contact with the rough Velcro like fastener system on mount, which can cause abrasions.

The S8 Pro Ultra is equipped with a range of smart features, including support for Google Home and Amazon Alexa. You can configure and manage these through the Roborock app that is also home to its maps and advanced mopping settings. The app also lets you to schedule cleanings and monitor the battery life and maintain your components. You'll need to go through a few steps to enable voice control on this model. This is a shame considering how well-performing it is otherwise.

3. Dreame X40

The Dreame X40 is an industry-leading robot vacuum and mop with exceptional suction power, advanced mowing capabilities, and a variety of innovative features. Its clever design permits customised and efficient cleaning while reducing time.

It can be controlled using the Dreame App or Alexa, Siri, or Google Home to ensure smooth voice-controlled operations.

The app is intuitive and user-friendly, and the X40's smart features are easy to set up. Users can program the X40 for cleaning at specific times. It can also be adjusted to adjust suction power, switch modes, view floor plans and maps and control mopping settings. The X40 will also keep track of its progress, and alert you when it's done.

The X40 is easy to maintain and comes with many convenient features which make it a good option for busy families. The docking station automatically empty the dustbin into a huge 3.2 L bin, washes the mop pads, and refills them with clean water and a cleaning solution. It can also tell when the mop pad is overflowing and alert you before it gets overflowing, reducing the need for manual maintenance.

4. L20 Ultra

The L20 Ultra is a high-end robot that's one of the most expensive models available, but it packs in many extra features that distinguish it from. Its mops have a new feature called Smart DuoScrub. There's a plethora of settings available that include the ability to schedule cleaning times and adjust a number of different preferences. The app allows you to make these settings or you can use the buttons on the device itself. The app is simple to use and offers many options to customize the cleaning routine. Additionally, there are a lot of features that other robots do not have - such as the Clean Genius mode that automatically boosts suction power when it detects dust particles instead of relying on the manual setting.

The L20 Ultra has a stylish design with a white-and-metallic finish that looks elegant and sophisticated. It's a bit heavier at 4kg than some of the other robots listed on this list but it's not too heavy. It is solid and well-built. The mopping system is well designed and the double-rotating mop works well on hard floors or in corners. They can also extend to 2mm baseboards thanks to the MopExtend feature, which is a nice touch.
