Buying a Tandem Double Buggy

A tandem double buggy, please click the next post, can be a fantastic option if you have twins, or children who are very close in age. They are a bit smaller than side by side buggies and are ideal for narrow spaces like doorways, public transport and terrain that is rocky.

Some convert into travel systems that use two carrycots or car seats. They are typically heavier, longer and less stable than a single pushchair.

Convertible

There are a variety of options to add a second seat or changing a single stroller into a double strollers. Reclining the seat independently

If you're looking for a double stroller that can accommodate children of different ages, you will need one with a recliner that is independent for both seats. This will allow your older child to rest while the baby is in a bassinet and vice versa.

It is also important to consider the width of the pushchair as it will impact how easy it is to traverse doors and public transport. If your doorways are very narrow, you may want to consider a side-by-side pushchair such as the Mountain Buggy Duet.
